A portrait of England in the 80s reflecting, to some extent, the culture-shock that the Magnum photographer felt upon returning home after years on the road in various trouble spots (Beirut, etc.). That same year Steele-Perkins won The Robert Capa Gold Medal. A fine copy in the original wrappers. Two years later, Aperture reprinted this work with the same title.
