HEIN. Me, me, me.
£50.00
[HEIN, Tomas.] Me, me, me. [UK: self-published, 2011.]
First edition, signed. Hein inserted himself into found photos, Zelig or Forest Gump style. At first glance it’s simply comic, but this is also an interesting take on the meaning of identity creation: Hein is everywhere but his name is nowhere in the book, nor does it include any publication data. He is at once ubiquitous and anonymous – much like anyone living on social media. Complete with the t-shirt issued with the book (this one size L, round neck, printed with the image of Hein shirtless in front of a tank). One of 50 copies (this one number 2). A fine copy in the original wrappers; the t-shirt never worn.
